During the development of the 2023 FULL ELECTRIC SPORTBACK project which includes 1974-1996 Porsche Carrera conversions, the greater space created in the rear compartment prompted us to slightly modify the roof profile making the passenger compartment comfortable for four people and a fairly large luggage back space  that can be expanded by folding down the rear seats. This project has been conceived to house a complete Tesla dual engine system providing HP 550    (Kw 400 ), 610 Nm of Torque (4.500 pound-feet) an acceleration  0 to 60 miles  (100km/h) in 2.3 seconds. The top speed is limited to 140 MHP (224 Km/h) Two battery packs are installed in the vehicle, one in the front luggage compartment and one in the lower rear compartment allowing a range of 250 miles (400 kms) The  current European regulations relating to electric car conversions do not allow Tesla set up for European cars.The electric conversion  is allowed if the new electric engine has the same horse power of the previous internal combustion engine and need to be CE certified, therefore, depending on the Porsche donor models, in Europe the power may vary from 150 to 231 horsepowers.
